01.

Who we are

Aegin is operated from India by an individual sole proprietor trading under the name "Aegin Labs" (the "operator"). This page is published under India’s Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 and to meet the legal-metadata requirements of our Indian payment gateway. It carries what those rules require and nothing beyond it.

Where you pay in Indian rupees, you contract with the operator named here. Where you pay in another currency, the merchant of record is the processor shown at checkout, acting on the operator’s behalf. The Terms of Service at /legal/terms set out the full mapping.

Governing law for INR transactions

For transactions in Indian rupees processed through our Indian gateway, the contract between you and the operator is governed by the laws of India and any dispute falls to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, India.

Nothing in this section overrides a consumer-protection right that cannot be waived where you live, or the India consumer carve-out in the Terms of Service at /legal/terms.

Cancellation and refunds

Aegin subscriptions are digital, intangible, and delivered continuously, so there is nothing to return in the retail sense. The Free tier costs nothing and is how you evaluate the product before paying.

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. The full refund policy, including the narrow statutory exceptions, is at /legal/refund.
